The Basic Composition of the Charging Pile-Max Power

    The charging pile consists of the pile body, electrical module, metering module and other components. The pile body includes the shell and the human-machine interaction interface. The electrical module includes a charging socket, cable transfer terminal block, safety protection device, etc.


    Safety protection function


    The charging pile should have safety protection functions such as overload protection, leakage protection, lightning protection, emergency stop, etc.


    Human-machine interaction function


    It is used to input charging parameters and display relevant information under each state. For example, users of the charging pile can input charging power or charging amount through the keyboard on the charging pile and reserve charging time (start charging at night when the power consumption is low).


    During the charging process, charging voltage, charging current, charging power and other status information can be displayed on the charging port. Users can check the charging card account, fund balance and other information.


    Charging piles providing public charging services generally also have functions such as card swipe, identification, metering and billing, ticket printing, local device commissioning, remote communication control, etc.


    Charging point networking is possible with the help of communication products, open standard protocols and existing interfaces such as Modbus/TCP, REST, MQTT, or OCPP (Open Charging Point Protocol). This allows for easy control of parking lot charging stations, transparent monitoring processes including dynamic load management, and seamless connection to building management and back office systems. And charge gun status and usage data can be used to plan preventive maintenance in case components wear out.
